Rules

 

1

Each player will select one Speed.King Team.  This team will consist of one chassis, one engine, and two different drivers. The competition is FREE.

The budget for the sum of the cost of each Speed.King Team's chassis, engine and drivers is 40 fantasy dollars. Overbudget teams will receive a two (2) point penalty each race for every dollar over budget. Underbudget teams will receive a one (1) point bonus each race for every dollar under budget.

If a driver does not compete in a race, the Speed.King Fantasy Teams who had selected that driver will NOT score points from that driver's replacement. If a driver moves to a different team, he will continue to score points for their new chassis and engine.

The Speed.King Team with the highest accumulated points wins Prizes at the end of the year.

A Speed.King Fantasy Team's points will equal the sum of its chassis, engine and driver's points.

Chassis, engines and drivers scores points based on their finishing position for each FIA F1 race.  F1 cars will score points as follows:   1st - 25, 2nd- 22, 3rd - 19, 4th - 17, 5th - 16,......  20th - 1

Cars that do not finish receive no base points.

Cars that finish are deducted 2 points for each lap they are behind the leader.

Cars receive 5 bonus points for each pole position.

A driver's race points are equal to the points his car scored during the race.

A chassis' race points are equal to their highest points scored by cars using that chassis during the race.

An engine's race points is equal the average of all cars using that engine during the race.

In the event of a tie at the end of the season, a players prediction of the FIA driver's champion(first tie breaker) and the FIA points scored by the champion(second tie breaker) will determine the overall winner.

It is intended that there should be only one Speed.King Team per individual. Only your last team entered will count for Prizes.  Additional teams will be allowed and displayed, but are not eligible for prizes.

Entries must be submitted before the first practice of the first race.

Invalid teams (incomplete teams, teams without one chassis, one engine, and two different drivers) will be excluded without notice to the team owner.
